I was hoping it wouldn't be this predictable, and I hate the fact that there's no one new this time around. Can we please have Gig and Ash already?

Hopefully, like with the previous DLCs, they'll come with something that makes up for the disappointment (Hoping for some awesome Thursday magichange abilities).

Actually.. it CAN be trusted. I've posted info on DLC for the last two months before anyone else. And both times the info popped up on that blog waaay before on ANY 'actual gaming news site'.

So once we do get Ash, who is everyone going to be wanting?
Because every DLC post ever has a flood of comments pertaining to the want of Ash. I mean, if they had put that DLC out first, and then all these other ones such as this one of Thursday, Gordon & Jennifer, would they be as disappointing?

P.S: I realize I'm talking as though Ash is a guarantee in some future DLC - sorry, didn't mean to get your hopes up more.

I'm fine with the rest of the DLC, but it's unfair that he's never once had a cameo and he's the main character of one of the games. It's unfair they're using the same cameos over and over again, they grow stale after a while. It's just that (atleast I) want something refreshing. It feels like they're only bringing out certain characters because they've already made sprites for them and are recycling them, not putting much effort.

I mean, I honestly wouldn't be surprise if they don't put him in. It's my worst fear and a major disappointment, but at this point I figure he probably won't get a cameo afterall. Last time, they cited they didn't know how he would fit in, being a ghost and all. Doesn't stop other nonsensical cameos from appearing though.

I thought we were possibly done with Disgaea by now. Actually I was waiting for this last month, rather than the MK surprise.

Knowing next month it's going to be something else lame like... Vyers, Kurtis, and Pleinair. Although I don't have anything against any of those guys. But it's nicer to have.... yanno, someone you actually WANT to have >.>

I kinda don't "mind" the them recycling sprites, unless it's from MK or from some other series, but I really wish they could at least polish up and recolor the ones from D1 since they look so pale. But a couple of new animations would be nice.

A part of me is very disappointed, but the other part of me kind of doesn't care. Since if you look at the extra character list from other Disgaea, it's practically laughable in comparison. At this rate it's probably only a matter of time of time until they start putting in so many extras that they can get the repeats out the way faster and add more unusual ones. Maybe not for D3 but whatever is the next big SRPG they have working.

Bottom line: It's better than nothing, there's probably going to be more and larger DLCs for future games to.


I can't really think of any more characters they might have to add besides the ones already mentioned. If they do add those 3 next, there's still room for about 3 more. Hopefully Gig, Ash, and some other lucky person might get added at the last second D:

Man it's depressing how I don't care about the DLC at all anymore since I beat Baal and my data got wiped.

Ah well, I always had a soft spot for Jennifer.

I knew this would be coming, so now we have either two or three updates left. NIS said they'll update until January, but I don't know if that means the last update is on December or January.

I'm surprised that NIS hasn't even released a new scenario yet. I'm most likely going to skip this update. If Thursday is as strong as he was in Disgaea 1, then maybe I'll purchase him. Mid-Boss and Kurtis are the only Disgaea characters I can think of who are left. These next updates might be a little unpredictable.

Also, its kinda lame that the only DLC character I am REALLY wanting to download is Pram. Not that Pram is lame, she most certainly is not. Its just that out of 16 DLC, only 1 of them really grabs my attention

Okay, I'm still a little disappointed that we still don't get any Ash or Gig but...

OH MY GOD! ARAMIS IS PLAYABLE! DO WANT! (That zombie gattai attack is awesome!)

As for the Defenders of Earth, making Jennifer a monster type is definitely strange, considering that the last time she was playable, she was a humanoid.

But now that I think about it, outside of the first release (Adell, Rozalin, and Cat Girl class), every release has had one humanoid (Kogure, Yukimaru, Pram) and two monsters (Taro, Hanako, Tink, Prier, Zetta, and Marjoly).
