Disgaea 2 Vol. 4: The Day of the Cameos--I mean Tournament (Chapter 2)
I would've done this last night, but I was dead throughout the entire day, so while I still feel like I'm dead today, here's Chapter 2.
All of the chapter 2 scans are available in a .zip file in the sendspace link I provided, while 20 scans from the chapter are available under the cut. As always, everyone is free to use any of the scans I provided as long as I am credited for scanning it. If anyone wants me to upload the .zip onto another file storage site or wish for specific scans in higher quality, please let me know.

And now, onto the comments...
We start chapter 2 with the Makai News crew reporting live from Veldime for today's tournament with Usagi hoping that the first person to die today isn't him.
We've seen Hekaton throw in generics from other games before (Particularly the very first chapter of the entire manga), but he really goes all out this time. Aside from including Disgaea 3's sexy Succubus, we can see Disgaea 3's Female Gunner, Makai Kingdom's gunner, Phantom Brave's Dungeon Master and Knight, and several Disgaea 1 monsters.
And here are a few more cameo generics and even Ringmaster Hamm from Phantom Brave. As for Axel, he's most likely trying to get his face on camera (Awesome Super Cool thumbs up included) and it's not making the Succubus very happy.
Don't ask me how Axel suddenly got the ears and the tail. All I know is that it had something to do with the Succubus.
Kunoichi Flonne. So predictable, yet so moe!<3 And Skull Laharl is cute too.
Possible Lucky Star reference?
Laharl is obviously talking about Etna and Flonne is happy to know that doesn't hate her as much as he claims to. Still, whenever the two are together, it's always cute.
Flonne: Me or Etna? Who do you REALLY like? <3
Laharl: What kind of question is that!?
More Makai Kingdom generics plus Phantom Brave's mage.
Speaking of Etna, she apparently got tired of sitting on top of Prinnies and thought that maybe Adell was GAR enough to be her new pillow.
Okay, getting awkward...
Adell: Etna is a monster. Just look at this really monstrous picture of her even though we just saw her five seconds ago.
Hanako: Sorry, can't hear you. Too busy thinking about how awesome Etna is.
A few more cameos rounding out the tournament. Some Disgaea 3 generics, Gordon, Jennifer, and Thursday, the Prism Rangers, and even an unused generic design. Oh and those who have played the game, yes, that special Prinny is exactly who you think it is, and his involvement is almost non-existant in the manga, even in comparison to the game.
For the first time ever, Adell's tie comes loose and Rozalin offers to fix it, while wishing for him to return to her after the tournament alive. It's such a cute scene but I think I have something to say to Rozalin...
Rozalin, I understand how you feel. Many heroines from others game and anime who watched someone they cared about almost dying and they felt sad yet hope for their safe return, but most of them didn't cry right away...
taiga: And geez, if this goes on, Rozy is going to turn permanently red.
Honestly, I'm more worried about her dehydrating from all the crying...
Adell: Stop the whole tears thing. Letting you cry is not my style.
I don't know if we skipped ahead to the end of the preliminaries or if someone came out and blasted that guy's head off, but a guy's head being ripped off isn't cool.
And here comes the big guy, and I mean that literally. Zenon is FREAKIN' huge!
Nice wrestling mask, Laharl...
Not a lot of comments for this chapter either. Just some really cute moments with Laharl and Flonne and Adell and Rozalin, plus some cool appearances made by generics from most of the other Nippon Ichi games (Well, at least those with Harada as the lead character designer. Soul Cradle doesn't get any love...) Oh and yes, like the last volume, this isn't the last time we'll see Rozalin crying (Though, by now, I've gotten used to it).
