New NI Port: Phantom Brave PORTABLE

UPDATE: New info on Dengeki (http://news.dengeki.com/elem/000/000/286/286303/) and on the newly opened official site.

*Phantom Brave Portable WILL have Another Marona.
*New playable characters: The Otaku-turned-Hero from Zettai Hero Project, Hero Prinny, and Zetta (And yes, he's in his book form). There are also two more characters, but they've been left blank (Hoping for Castille and someone from Soul Nomad).
*Some sort of new mechanic regarding items and dungeons(?) I don't know, I need someone to translate this.

Yeah. I mean, it's good that PSP owners get a chance with Phantom Brave as well, but I was really looking forward to a Makai Kingdom or Soul Nomad port.

I love Phantom Brave~ . I just have the PS2 version though.
I'm really excited about this game. If this isn't Phantom Brave 2 then I hope they will add TONS of extras >:( .

It's a port.

As for extras, the Wii port had that alternate mode Another Marona, some extra battles, and new weapons and skills. The PSP version will probably have that and probably something to make it different from the Wii version. And since this is on the PSP, there's probably gonna be some DLC released for it.

Well, the website isn't up and there's barely any information to go on. I'm pretty sure they could fit Another Marona on the PSP version, but dual voice acting will probably be another story if NISA decides to bring it over. Yet for some reason, I kinda doubt that they'll bring it over.

I don't know. I don't mind buying it a second time, but a third time is just too much. Unless this port has all the stuff they added from the Wii version and more, you can pretty much count me out on this one.

I can't say I exactly mind. I don't own a Wii, so I haven't picked up PBWii, soooo... having it on my PSP I really wouldn't mind at all. |Da I love PB, a lot. But I really want LP:R first, since I don't actually even own a copy of it. ;-;

Yeah, I really want the other NI games that failed to have a port get ported first. I just hope that the extra content from the Wii port doesn't get shafted when they bring the game to the PSP.

It WOULD be nice to see MK get some love. :( Oh well, I guess we'll see what happens next year. They're running out of things to port, so. lol BUT YES. I hope the extra content gets added. I'd be rather surprised if they didn't add it though.

I love PB so much, but... damn.

It sucks both because we just got a revamped Wii port, and because they'll probably tack on DLC or other additional content to make the PSP version tempting.

But I guess that goes for pretty much every NIS handheld port. Still makes it feel like they're milking these games dry, but I can see the appeal of having these games in a portable format, too.

If they're actually going to bring this over here, it should be a prerequisite to bring over the PSP La Pucelle first. That is a port we actually could use long before this one.

not to offset the topic but im glad that its being ported to psp i never got to finish the original and i dont own a wii so it'll be a buy for me if it does get released here..though i do have to agree a makai kingdom port would be awesome.

No, you're not offsetting the topic. I mean, I'm pretty sure all the PSP owners who missed out on We Meet Again will be happy if the PSP version comes with all the extra content. I'm just disappointed that the inevitable release of the Makai Kingdom and Soul Nomad ports will be delayed for another port of Phantom Brave.
