Absent and in lala land. It was just a while after Gwen(Laharl's mom)'s death, so I guess he's off somewhere mourning or sth, haven't read to that part yet.

The main thing is, he left Laharl in care of his aunt....who pretty much thinks humans are lower than dirt and believes his blood is 'soiled'.

Yeah, horrible things ensued. Laharl is still suffering some trauma from it.
