I agree, ignorance doesn't excuse the amount of parenting fail, but I don't think he'd willingly let Laharl go through something like that. I guess he really wasn't thinking straight when he made that decision...and in contrast to her wife, Vevusio isn't actually that bad, I guess K-man didn't factor Yasurl in. It's natural for him to trust his own brother, I guess.

He went to his aunt and uncle's place, which...might've spared Gwen from watching all that if she stayed in the castle. But I can't imagine she'd be happy about not seeing her son for 100 years.
