Maybe it's an animation flub cuz the box art and even the promotional images seem to indicate that she still looks pretty much the same, maybe just a little bit older.

In fact, they just updated the official site with new images and Harada's art pretty much shows that Flonne hasn't aged as much as the opening implies.
