Disgaea 4: Power of Iwashi Scans

As always, the scans are free for everyone to use but credit would be nice. Note that some scans may contain spoilers for the game.

As expected, it's a novelization of Disgaea 4. Of course, if there are any changes, defade (If she has it) or someone who can read Japanese would know.

Chou Niku, or at least the people he hired, seems to be testing out different styles of shading and toning, flip-flopping between his traditional style and the style of the Disgaea 4 manga teaser. Also, chapter intermissions are mini-adventures with Axel with comments from Val, Laharl, and Etna. I guess the idea is that the real Next Episode segments belong only to novels focused on the Disgaea trio while the other games get something else.




They don't skimp out on the sardines.

I think Chou Niku's best stuff in this novel are Fuuka and Desco illustrations.








Though I'll admit seeing that sardine fin stick out of Val's mouth is pretty badass.

I ordered from Sanseido which is like a 20 minute drive from me. That's how I got all my light novels before the Kinokuniya in my area opened and then eventually closed.
