Nippon Ichi has four new games on the horizon.

So from what we know, the first game is an action RPG made by the Prinny team featuring full polygons and 3D graphics.

The second one is made by the D4 team and will feature the improved graphics from D4, networking, and a famous artist.

New game from the Cladun team.

A Japanese release of a 3DS game that was popular overseas. I must admit, I'm curious about this one. Popular here? But not released over in Japan? Hm...

And they have been hinting that they would like to make a sequel to Criminal Girls... ~~And I'll leave at that...~~

So NI is now going to make a fully 3D game? That's a surprise. Though lately, they have been stepping it up with 3D in Prinny 2, ZHP, and Disgaea 4 so I guess it was about time that to take that next step.

The 2nd game sounds it's going to be next year's big NI game. Can't wait to hear what it will be. And since they specifically said "famous artist" and not Harada, I have a feeling that this will be another deviation from the Disgaea mechanics much Soul Nomad was.

And where is the La Pucelle sequel? I'm starting to think that rumor really was just a rumor.

Its possible they might be getting backed up in a corner by Sony as well. They have been talking recently about how some of their games just couldn't be ported due to graphics (if I understood this correctly), so maybe they feel like they HAVE to step it up more or else, they'll eventually get shafted.

Yeah, by the D4 team, sounds like the next big PS3 game. And I hear you about LP, just a rumor, or was it cancelled? Though, hey, you never know... Harada wasn't the lead artist so... *crosses fingers*

Actually, that was in reference to NISA considering to release ZHP on the PS3 instead of the PSP like in Japan.

Ahh, got a few things mixed up it seems.

Still, I do believe that them going for 3D and polygons might have something to do with trying to not have this happen again, but meh, just a hypothesis.

Are they talking about hitchhiker prinny. i heard that one was going to be on the wii.

I have never seen that image before but it's definitely Harada's style.
Looks like a Summer Greetings Card, the same kind of card that showed us the first picture of Disgaea4. If you look closely, the Japanese text in both cards is the same: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v254/Felinus/486_3.png

... why yes, this just might be the next thing.

I think this might be for the 3D action RPG and not the game being made by the D4 team. I don't think they would specifically say "famous artist" if it's Harada doing the artwork since Harada has been their main artist since the first Disgaea.
