New Dengenki Article has info on D3R and the next D4,

In the D3 article it shows that you can now put special characters in the detention room, and also shows some more of the class specific attacks for Ronin and Archer. Also Character specials can become combination attacks such as Fuka and Rozalin's first special attacks being able to be combined. The rest talks about the Dlc modes such as time attack and Rasberyl mode, also shows some save file skins.

The D4 article has info on the next Dlc Apparently we are actually getting a young King Kirchevcoy, also he is humanoid and can wield weapons. Also the unlosing Ranger is confirmed as Humanoid and we get a dark lord Valvoga ship parts:D. Also because of the image shown before the baal battle I think Baal actually joins you:O, also it appears the all out battle will have it's own storymode.

Holy Crap... I think they added a Innocent Warehouse to D3R.

So that is young Kirchevcoy and not Vyers with his antennae back? I was looking forward to play as older Kirchevcoy (his original design), now I am a bit disappointed, but oh well, he still looks pretty awesome.

I don't know. On the one hand, yeah, I am a little disappointed that we don't get the Snidely Whiplash mustache Krichevskoy. On the other hand, I am still excited, he looks awesome, and it does make a little more sense that it would be Mid Boss dressing up to look a little more like he was as Krichevskoy than the old man himself. At the very least, Krichevskoy would have to re-grow that mustache again.

Yeah seriously he need to get that awesome dali mustache back. But oh well, maybe the old King Krichevskoy will be playable in a distant Disgaea remake or something. I really hope we get to see Laharl meet his old man like this, I wonder how he will react, call him old like it never happend or not recognize him and call him Mid-Boss? Most likely the latter.

I take it that since they made a DLC character march image that there will be no more DLC for Disgaea 4 (if the original Disgaea 3 is any indicator).

I doubt it not to sound mean but everyone thought that Fuka and Desco chapter would end things and look what happened.

Yeah, but in Disgaea 3, the character march image was essentially what capped off Disgaea 3 so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same. And I really didn't think everyone believed it would end with Fuuka & Desco mode. After all, there was still a couple of DLC releases after Raspberyl Mode and the DLC for Disgaea 3 pretty much ended with the Baal battle.

While you are right, I still doubt that this is the end of the DLC. I mean Unlosing ranger and Nisa-chan were in the 16th and 25th spots respectively in the DLC poll and they got in, and King Kirchevcoy wasn't even on the DLC poll it was Midboss/Vyers, I find it odd that they would add those three characters and none of the others such as Almaz who got more votes then the unlosing Ranger or Nisa-chan. Also I wouldn't use Disgaea 3 as the standard for DLC, if I remember correctly D3 was the first time that NIS had ever done DLC at all. Also don't forget D4 is the game that saved their company They're going to milk this for all they can. And don't forget that D3R is on the horizon and considering what they did with Makai kingdom Portable it's not that farfetched to believe they will do something similar with D3R, plus the Baal battle doesn't really look that hard so I doubt this is the end of the DLC.

It could still be the end of it, it's really hard to say (since I don't think having one other game doing it that way suddenly makes it 'tradition'). But I do think D4 is still missing something, and my only hypothetical guess as to why there hasn't been too many playable characters is due to the HD sprites and having to essentially redraw everyone. Opposed to D3 where most of the DLC characters were just recycled from their respective games.

Although if I do remember correctly about D3 they actually did flat out say they were only going to do regular DLCs for so many months, then Beryl mode came out. And after Beryl there was only like another battle mode or so. I think if there was going to be no more, they would have announced it better.

I really hope that's the case anyway. Not that the D4 DLCs have been terrible by any stretch of the word, but like I said before, they still seem lacking. Probably because I'm not all that interested in pirate ships and custom maps so most of my money is going towards new characters and the modes/scenarios. Speaking of, if Fuka and Desco got one. And Val and Fenrich had one a few months back too. Where is Emizel's >>

Looks like Mid-Boss wasn't that far off from the real Krichevskoy after all. I like that little scene with Mao and Laharl together. I want them to strike a pose like on their Weiss Schwarz card.

Baal is going to be a free boss fight, and he has 400,355,917 HP.

Clear 20 battles of all star mode and get K-man there.

Apparently, more titles for the ZHP headquarters can be bought as DLC... not sure what they mean by that though.

Similar to the Medic and Necromancer, Pirohiko comes with new axe and spears skills that are transferable.

All of this is coming December 15. I guess Disgaea 4 isn't getting anything this month.

Well the DLC does take up spots on the Cam-pain map, I think it could be that reason why it might be over. An additional story mode does sound nice though. On a side note, the character march picture is awesome.
