Hmm... since this is focusing on the D1 Trio I wonder does this mean that Project D is going to be a Gaiden game, or something like Disgaea 1-2. Hmm... anyway looking at the characters Laharl is wearing pants instead of shorts and now has fingerless gloves, hmm... I think he might be a bit taller to. Etna is wearing something that looks like her D2 look but without the skirt and bracelets around her ankles. Hmm... Flonne is a Fallen angel so does that mean that this takes place before D3Rasbyerl mode and Disgaea 4, or are they going with broad strokes for the whole switching between fallen angel and archangel thing. Hmm... well as long as they stay away from that ridiculous fear energy and awe energy crap, I'm fine.

I think Etna is still wearing the skirt, but the front end is between her legs. Happens in most artwork.

A new game that could possibly be a sequel of the first Disgaea with the original trio would be the most incredible and awesome thing to happen in the Disgaea franchise IMO.

I don't want to get my hopes up but, dat image... hopefully we'll know something soon.

Maybe it's an HD remake of Disgaea 1, hopefully with more content (like a postgame with Flonne as a fallen angel), and balanced out aptitudes, evilities, magichange, etc....

Those gloves makes Laharl look kinda biker-ish.

I always loved the art of the characters of disgaea.
I am sure it is what captures gamers the most and it's always different in manga but the same
concept. I'd like to know where most of the official art is online, from the artbooks.
But looking on japanese websites.. :/ things pop it and it is difficult.
