The Cruel King and the Great Hero released in North America on March 15th! A storybook-styled, side-scrolling RPG game in the same vein of The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince. Available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch. [Launch Trailer]

In light of the upcoming Japanese release of Yomawari 3 (4/21), Episode 70 of Leisurely Nippon Ichi is going to be a special on the series. They've put out a survey asking folks on their thoughts of the games, as well as what they'd like to hear on the special. The stream is set to go live on March 24th, Japan-time. • The Yomawari 3 site has updated. (Warning: Site may feature jump scares.)
  • It's been revealed that the player is able to customize the appearance of the protagonist, a first for the series.
  • The "Girl in Your Memories" was also added to the character list.
    • "A slightly older girl who appears in your memories again and again. She seems to also be wandering the streets at night, searching for "something". She carries a large camera with her."

• Also for White Day, the Disgaea RPG twitter (JP) held a 24-hour retweet campaign for bonus goods in-game.

March 15, 2022:
• Twitter campaign to win Mizuhashi Kaori's autograph ends.
• Plenair set giveaway via Instagram. Raffle lasts until 3/22, Japan residents only.
• Concept art reveal of an Alternate Universe Liezerota (JP) for the Disgaea RPG mobile game. Inheritor of the Grand Macro Palm, she's ranked as the #1 demon that young fiends want to be princess-carried by.

March 16, 2022:
• Twitter campaign to win a Yomawari 3-styled notebook ends.

March 17, 2022:
• The Shop Twitter teases some upcoming pin designs for Mad Rat Dead. They may end up bigger than the previous sets of Yomawari pins.
• The raid event "Violent Love and a Firm Fist" begins for Disgaea RPG (JP).
• Various new merchandise revealed for Tantei Bokumetsu.
• void* tRrLM2(); (Void Terrarium) screenshot campaign begins (JP). Submit screenshots to enter a lottery for winning ten glass magnets.

Oooh The Cruel King and the Great Hero looks super cute, since it's available in North America now I'll have to maybe get it for my switch. Love the concept of a young girl raised by a dragon adventuring, I def don't see enough of that sort of thing!

Yeah! I'm glad the director went with a heroine too, since there's usually a certain expectation with these kind of settings. I'm hoping to get my hands on the game itself next paycheck, because in the meantime I couldn't resist... the Dragon King plush... I missed out on the Liar Princess plush and have regretted it ever since. Not this time!!
