A couple of codes from Disgaea 2 PSP software caught my eye -

I've seen a few blogs mentioning this so I went to try to look it up. These are just internal codes for hacking the PSP version of Disgaea 2 and what you can find in the files.


Translation of names :

It also looks like Mao has coding to be a random shop in the item world "Reconstruction Shop" ... it's fitting.

Though, this is a bit prospective... If it's in the game's code and all. But then again, the game hasn't even came out, it could just be testing things out and they'll change the codes before the final build.

... And I'm obviously the go-to expert in game coding, so don't trust that with a penny bet o3oa

I googled it and I finally discovered that you have to download a program called "PSP Cheat Hacker" if you want to insert these codes:

And yes, we finally get Ash. It looks like these characters will probably be DLC and like most DLC, we're just buying the key that unlocks them.

The content is already programmed when we buy the game, we just have to buy the key to unlock it.

Has anyone like, actually tried using these codes in game yet? I'm curious just how functional these actually are. And that Hanako one confuzzles me too...


Man, if this really is true and all, they BETTER make a DS version for this too. Even though PSP taunts me with enough pretties as it is ;o;

I put in the cheat codes to get the characters and they are partially operational. The human characters have basic attack animations, but monster classes(Gig) don't. They also don't have voices. Brand new cameos don't even have portraits or battle cuts.

Then, I guess the DLC will add the "missing parts".
Overall, the characters you obteined with the codes aren't very glitchy, are they XD ?

They don't seem glitchy at all. They're just incomplete. Here's a link to the actual CWCheat codes to get them. Near the bottom of the page.
