I doubt it, especially since we have yet to learn about her. Plus, she's taking Geoffrey's place in the game and we all know that he still managed to live.

Something makes me think the maid is either a construct or something similar, considering how Geoffrey seems to conveniently be there to advise Mao to use her energy to power himself up.

Also is Geoffrey going to also be Aurum here or what?

Of course he's still Aurum ^^ ! He's definitely scheming something :) . And I got a feeling that the maid used to be his sidekick in his Hero adventures :p.
