Disgaea 4 Glitching due to Hard drive

Whenever I play Disgaea 4, there is a notable delay during some parts of the game, mainly when I bring characters out of the base panel or use certain attacks. From what I've found out in the NISA forums, this problem is mainly affecting those who are using Scorpio Blue hard drives. I'm considering getting another hard drive, but has anyone else had these problems? Has anyone found any way to fix this aside from switching hard drives every time you want to play Disgaea 4? And has anyone know which hard drive besides the one that came with your PS3 that's currently working well with Disgaea 4?

UPDATE: After hearing from people on NISA forums, I decided to go with Scorpio Black. The delays are no longer there.

i have that problem as well but mainly just using certain attacks but its not too the point where i'd consider another HD. I dont see how the drive is the issue when it reads from the disc (you can't install the game either) but i'm no expert so eh..but honestly I'm to the point where i just skip most animations anyway

I haven't had something like that happen, but one time I was coming off from a bill passing in the Cam-pain, and it took about three minutes to get back to the main cam-pain board, and I noticed that the lights weren't showing the hard drive doing anything the entire time. almost thought it crashed or got stuck on something it couldn't get out of...

Luckily that was the only time (so far) but it's kinda concerning. It's the hdd that came with my PS3 too. Maybe I should look at getting another hard drive, just in case...
