This is the new game Idea Factory is working on for the Playstation 3. It's named Infinite Souls. It's a RPG and its gameplay is very similar to Disgaea. However, the similarities don't stop here. Takehito Harada and Nomura Ryouji are designing the characters, click here to check out some of their art and some magazine scans of the game (nsfw for cleavage).

This game has lots of fanservice apparently (why the protagonist is a kid, Harada why) ... Here's a dengeki article with hi-res art. (NSFW)
Besides, in a similar way to Tinier Me you can customize your character! That's pretty cool feature!

Honestly, this time I think Harada designed the characters in a rush. And Nomura Ryouji... ...

that looks pretty awesome just looking at the drawing almost makes you think its the next disgaea. And i like the thief redrawing combining the original thief and the new thief

To be honest, the thing that's got my attention is Keiji Inafune heading things. I'm going to wait to see if anything else comes out about this before any final decision at all comes around, though.

You're right... After searching and reading about Keiji Inafune I started to get excited about this game. He worked for many Capcom games and created Megaman, he's awesome :o !!

The only thing I don't like about this game is Ryoji. Everything else seems fine and I'd play it.

It's so sad. Ryouji actually had a pretty good grasp of how anatomy works... but then at some point in his life he realized that so much work and knowledge weren't enough to pay the bills and he decided to screw everything and draw "soccer ball" boobs so the otakus could drool all over his drawings.

It's really sad because, apart from the watermelons there, she's really proportionate. Her legs look like actual legs! This is why I used to love the Marl/LP art, they looked like normal people.

But argh... you can have big breasts... but realistically, PLEASE!?

Oh, he puts effort alright and some of his new LP artwork is good. It's just that he puts so much effort in making his character's breasts as ridiculous as possible that it ruins everything else. As taiga said, big breasts are fine but somewhat realistically PLEASE!

I don't think this will be a game for me, the picture of a young looking naked girl covered in a sperm-like substance creeps me out.

When I saw the card of the naked little girl I was creped out too. Hopefully it's just the promo art that's like this and that the story isn't a bunch of fanservice moe cliches agglomerated.

I don't like any of the main protagonists so far but the shadows of the characters in this picture ( http://dol.dengeki.com/news/201110/mugen/mugen_dps_00_01.html ) seem interesting
(it also has a anti-save protection, no wonder it's so hi-res O_o ) .

I read about this a few days ago. I'm surprised there has been no mention of Katsuyuki Hirano(artist of Agarest War and Cross Edge) as part of the group of artists who will be contributing to this game. Hirano is rather appropriately, the artist in charge of the erotic scenes in the game. While the erotic art of that pink-haired girl looks like Hirano's the style, long, green-haired girl looks like its another artist's work. What I like best about Hirano is that his art is almost hardly ever difficult to look at. Even with some of the very phallic artwork of Agarest, I never thought any of it was bad or ridiculous in proportions. It had plenty of sex appeal without being overly trashy.

I'm fine with Harada's designs. Aside from the main character, whom has a slight Raspberyl feel to her, the others don't seem too similar to the characters from the other games Harada worked on. In short, the other two don't seem to be expies from other NIS games.

As for Ryouji's design, that's the only I give a thumbs down for. I know there's only appearance to by, but his character seems to be a bit of a Priere expy.

Also, this new Inafune bloke seems rather entertaining and funny. Its not often I see game designers acting like that on camera.

The green haired girl looks to me like a combination between Flonne and Marona (just grown up), while the guy looks somewhat like a fusion of Ash and Aramis. I still like the designs though...

I was thinking the same thing about the green-hair girl.
The hair style and the fact she's an angel just screamed Flonne to me.

Tho Flonne would never have half of her boobies hanging out like that O_o

I still have to disagree as I can't really see hints of Flonne or Marona. Yeah there's green hair, but that's about it. Though she does have the same cat ears ornament as Pram. Of course that could change once the voice actors are made public.

As for the other one, the only thing I can see close to Aramis is the belt buckle collar and for Ash, maybe some of the facial features, but that's about it. Once again, the voice actors could change things. I could imagine this guy being voiced by Hiro Shimono.
