Holiday Greetings from NIS America

I checked my e-mail today and I had two e-mails from NIS America. The first one being a Holiday Greeting e-card and the second about Disgaea PSP being voted RPG being nominated for best RPG of 2007 at 1UP.com.

On the greeting card, Almaz and the female gunner are shown. I'm guessing this confirms that the lovely folks at NIS America are starting to work on Disgaea 3 or it is at least have it planned. If anyone remembers, they did the same exact thing by sending Soul Nomad cards at the end of 2006.

As for the other e-mail, 1UP.com nominated Disgaea PSP in the "Best RPG of 2007" category. They've got a lot of other great RPGs in the category (though I'm surprised to see Izuna in the list), so throw in your votes.

I will say upfront, Disgaea 3's battle system will be incredibly exploitable.

If you're going to play the JPN version and don't know Japanese, you might wanna read this so you don't get hammered when play-time comes.

Alright so... A friend of mine appearently discovered this program last night, known as Ren'Py. I dunno how poplular it is, although I certainly haven't heard of it until just now.. But basically it's a sort of "dating sim" maker. And by the looks of it, a VERY easy one to use.

Which now has lead me into the craze of "great bajeebus I wanna make something on it". Or if nothing else expose it to the rest of the world so other projects can be made, and I can reap the benefit of playing it... One of the topics leading to a Nippon Ichi-themed one. Not so much as a pairing thing (although maybe), but like a "Choose Your Own Adventure" type of deal. And most likely expand into everything that's N1-related right now. Or try to fit in as much as possible.


Feel free to comment whatever feedback or ideas/suggestions you have about this. Or even what you might wanna do to help out. Since I doubt this project is gonna be easy for 1-2 people ^^;;
