Two new websites have gone up today on NIS's Japanese website today, as well as there's an update for Hymn Princess of Antiphona.

Disgaea Infinite's website will open on 9/17. I do not know what this is about, although it does show prinny art from the first Disgaea. Hmnn.

Zettai Hero Reconstruction Project's website will also go up on the 17th. Not much here yet.

Hymn Princess of Antiphona's website has topic four up on it's website. It's basically an interview with Miabelle, from what I can tell.

Other than that I'm actually really clueless on what this Disgaea Infinite project is, but here's to hoping it's more than a remake or something. If it has it's own website, it must be something big! ... Something, kinda, sorta. Maybe?

From NeoGaf :

Disgaea Infinite is a visual novel adventure using the gameplay systems from Infinite Loop, but with Disgaea characters and story instead. The new Hero game is the one that has been teased in previous designs, it's a brand new SRPG for the PSP featuring a completely customizable Power Rangers type "hero" character. You can customize his helmet, right arm, left arm feet, and options - just like you would customize a mecha. Options include stuff like wings and stuff. Looks pretty rad.

Dengeki Online posted an article for ZHRP. The main character (named by the player) is given the transformation belt by a dying man. By wearing it, he'll become the Unstoppable マケレンノジャー.

The game's dungeons are randomly generated each time you enter them. When the player acts, the enemies act, so I think it's like a Mysterious Dungeon-type game?

You'll have to use the different equipment types to get past the various types of dungeons that are generated. You have five slots to change equipment.

Thanks guys!

I noticed a review for A Witch's Tale was posted on rpgamer a few days. Apparently its an extremely easy game, but what can hook people is the game's style and charm. The game's release date is set for 10/06/09.

"Every child in North America grows up hearing certain stories. Grimm's Fairy Tales, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz are all stories that everyone reading this has probably heard at some point in their lives. A Witch's Tale is a charming DS RPG that absorbs these classic stories to create a simple, Hallowe'en-themed game that combines them all into a single world."

ExpandCut for the review )

I posted the message in one of the topics, but [livejournal.com profile] charmwitch wanted this up on the main comm, so here it is again.

Dear burnfist23,

Thank you for your patience.

After thorough investigation, we have found out that this error message was somehow misplaced. This message was supposed to show up when you have an additional character in your save data, but you don’t have any DLC data on your Memory Stick. However, once you install DLC data on your Memory Stick, it will no longer appear.

Our research also found out that this message doesn’t affect the gameplay experience, except any distress it may cause.

To compensate for the distress and confusion, we are going to launch the first DLC for this title, Sapphire, for free of charge.

We will also post a more detailed announcement regarding this issue.

Thank you again for your support and patience. I hope you enjoy Disgaea2: Dark Hero Days.

If you have any other issues or questions, please email us anytime. Your opinions are extremely important to us, and we will try our best to live up to your expectations.

Best regards,
Customer Support Staff
NIS America, Inc.

In short...
* The message does nothing and means nothing, so go on and play the game.
* The purpose of the message is discourage any attempts to get the DLC for free (Probably due to the issue with the Gig and Revya DLC in Disgaea 3).
* Sapphire will be released free of charge when the first DLC pack is released.

I'm still putting off Disgaea 2, though, since I have way too many other games to deal with, not to mention I can't stop staring at the cover of Chou Niku's new artbook.
