spirateEarlier today, Siliconera reported that Idea Factory and Compile Heart were making a Vita RPG for 2014. The director of the game is Masahiro Yamamoti, leader of N1 subsidiary Counter Stop (i.e. part of the core Disgaea team) and director of Disgaea 4, Zettai Hero Project, and The Guided Fate Paradox (http://www.siliconera.com/2013/09/30/disgaea-4-director-soul-nomad-designer-working-new-vita-rpg/).
According to murmurings since June, a good chunk of N1 employees seem to be jumping ship to other companies due to some sort of inside scandal. Such employees including not only Yamamato and his team, but also staff from Disgaea D2 and the unreleased Battle Princess of Arcadia and even Asagi Project (http://m.neogaf.com/showpost.php?p=84092617)
Given Disgaea 5 is currently in pre-production, this could be pretty bad for N1.
