Disgaea: Maoh of the Dead scans

This one sadly doesn't come with a pullout, but I guess Chou Niku has his hands full. After all, he's working on the Disgaea 4 manga and I think he has other projects on his hands as well.

Anyway, the Disgaea trio obviously appears along with Ozonne, Shas, and Axel. Not exactly sure what's going on, but it does seem like there's some sort of movie involved since Laharl is holding a script and megaphone and Flonne is holding a microphone on the character page. As for when it takes place, the last chapter break clues into this taking place after Disgaea 4, which means Flonne can probably switch freely between Fallen Angel and Archangel form and takes the Fallen Angel form when she's around Laharl and Etna. Then again, Raspberyl Mode already demonstrated that.








As you can see in the lower left, the Pleinair art this time was done by Harada, which is the first time he's provided art for the novels since Enter the Maoh.


The chapter breaks this time are pages from Flonne's picture diary.


Yeah, you keep dreaming Axel cuz they're already taken. Just ask the Chick Magnet Overlord.


Mr. Dark Hero, why don't you take a seat right over there?


Kinda funny that there's a small LaharlXEtna moment in this novel when it's been all LaharlXFlonne the entire way through.


Great Flonzor X2, now with 100% more Gundam. Laharl probably let Flonne take parts of his Laharl Kaiser V to make it since it keeps failing on him.

Laharl-san said that he's making a movie, so I've decided to participate, too. But, of all people, for Ozonne to be the heroine! Maybe she'll be bitten and turn into a zombie. But, that sort of scene is only for the movie, so that's a bit much, isn't it.

Today it suddenly became the shooting of a monster movie. The prinnies are walking around with the cameras, too, so it's hard. Thankfully, we were able to record a good picture. But, it doesn't seem like the filming is going according to Laharl-san's plans. As for what the prinnies asked of me, my preparations are going smoothly.

The zombie-sans are now able to run in a lively way. But, when the zombie-sans run, the worm-sans and rotten flesh come falling off. Because of that, I feel sorry for the prinnies who clean up afterwards. Once the zombie-sans are finished running, it might be good if they went on a diet.

Today was the entrance of Flonngar (Flonzor?) X2 which I've been impatient for. Unfortunately it was a little incomplete. But, it played a much bigger role than I'd expected! What's more, I was really fired up that it was an action scene! I should have prepared a special move. But, I was sad that it broke at the end......

So it really is a movie? Man, what's with Laharl always denying Flonne a role? First, the Disgaea 2 "anime" and now the movie. I guess he wants to keep the movie on track without Flonne injecting love and Tokusatsu into it.

As Number 4, yeah, NISA changed it to Great Flonzor X. It was originally Great Flonnger/Flonngar X. And what's with Gundam-esque mechas breaking down in the Disgaea universe? First Laharl Kaiser V, now Great Flonzor X2.
