Hi Everyone! May is here, and it's a busy year for NIS and NISA so far! (And soon to be NISE?!)

First off, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice is the official title for Disgaea 3 in America! You can check out information on it's English release over at Hardcore Gamer Magazine. Their cover issue features an interview with Jack Niida and tidbits here and there! For one, it official gives us the English names of the Disgaea 3 main trio. There's ... no changes here, so uh. Mao, Raspberyl, and Almaz! Yay!

Also~ NIS JP's website has many updates today! First off, new merchandise has been spotted on the horizon!

There will be a four set of pencil boards for Disgaea 3 to be sold at the end of this month, as well as a set of His/Her hot drink cups with prinnies on them! How cute! ♥ That's not all, though. The Disgaea 3 Digital Art CD will be released at the end of the month as well! It'll feature most art as well as sprites, wallpapers, comics, etc. ... each digital cd has different content in it, so I'm not too sure what they'll add this time. It will retail for about 40 USD.

Finally, nenena posted scans to DS & Wii Style Volume 06, which cover featured Disgaea DS. New updates to Disgaea : Playable Plenair, and... I'm not too sure on Zetta. I think he's just a boss, in all honesty. Uh, he does carry the ever so legendary Makai Wars 2, though! I love the cover art for this illustration, mostly because a prinny playing Disgaea DS with a prinny touchpen is so cute, okay.

Uhmn... doesn't seem like there's much new here other than that. Stay Tuned! ♥

The story takes place in a small kingdom of Rizeeburugu (Lizeburg? ), where the crown prince William, the young heir of the throne caught glimpse of mysterious Shinigami (Death God) eyes one day. In doing so, the young prince perishes but stays as a spectre. One that not only haunts the place (though, he looks pretty doofy to be really haunting) but also takes the time to possess members of the royal household in order to find out the mysteries and troubled scenes that have been happening. It's basically a mystery adventure game where you have to take the point of view of many different characters in order to uncover the truth!

Wouldn't employing Conan be easier?

Anyway, characters.

William
Main character, he is the prince of the kingdom. The next in line to the throne. He seems to have been an unhealthy lad. Anyway, the day before his crowning ceremony, he caught glimpse of Shinigami Eyes and croaked. Now, he's a ghost that you command! ( Hey, you're no Ash but I guess you're kind of cute. )

Celestia (CV : Yuki Matsuoka)
She is the princess of a neighboring kingdom, as well as the late Prince's fiance. She's very shy and timid and has a very feminine personality.

Viene (CV : Kei Shindou)
William's little sister. She really loved her older brother, and she was happy with his fiance. Seems to find it interesting when couples or adults talk about issues. Huh.

Aisha (CV : Arai Shizuka)
A maid at the royal castle. She was the first to find William's corpse when he croaked. (On a similar note : She calls him "denka" in Japanese, which is the same thing Laharl is titled. ) She loves to eat, she might sometimes even take a snack on food that's meant for the Royal Family!

Grant (CV : Kichikawa Yuuhou ??? I can't find info on him at all. 吉川裕朋 ? )
Duke of a neighboring small country. He was the favorite of the late king, he used to have great influence. Now though, his fortunes are quickly dwindling and life has grown difficult for this duke.

Nelz (CV : Keitarou ???)
Prime Minister from the late king's time. Extremely wise, he was also very ruthless. He was named baron in court, and long ago he was once considered a knight.

Tatiana (CV : Noshiko ??? )
Also from the late king's time, she was a fortune teller designated for the castle. She's a bit of a recluse, it seems like she doesn't have any connection to the royal family.

The game features a possession system, where you- the main character, get to do funky things to the people living here in order to find out he truth. Can you handle it?!
