Can you believe there are only two weeks and half till the Thanksgiving holidays? It
feels like we just had Halloween night last weekend! Time sure does fly, doesn't it?

Well, today's announcement will make you want time to fly even quicker! Mana Khemia: Student Alliance will be coming out in January on the PlayStation® Portable system.
The game was orginally released for the PlayStation® 2 system, but now it's back with
a wi-fi system that'll let you play with your friends, more synthesizable items, and more! So, even if you've played the Mana Khemia on PS2, you'll still enjoy Mana Khemia PSP gameplay. We'll keep you updated on the Mana Khemia PSP Official Webiste, preorder, and more!

NIS America announced that they are reprinting Disgaea 2 and Makai Kingdom in limited numbers. Pre-orders for them went up for the games a few days ago, so if you never got a chance to play them or if you just sealed copies, nows your chance to get them for cheap.

Also, it seems like Mana Khemia was re-released at $20 a few weeks ago (most likely just the game alone).

For those who are interested theres been a bit of news regarding Mana Khemia in the past week.

First of all, Mana Khemia is already getting a PSP remake in Japan. It will have the standard additional content such as new bosses and probably dungeons. It will also feature a co-op mode.

Also, Mana Khemia 2: Ochita Gakuen to Renkinjutsushi Tachi has been officially announced for Japan. The pending release date for Mana Khemia 2 is May 29, 2008 with regular and limited edition versions. Pre-orders for the game are available at NCSX and Play-Asia.

From NCSX: Vain Aureolus, Philomel Hartung, Gunnar Damm, and the other heroes from the original Mana Khemia have moved on and a new cast of characters star in the upcoming sequel. Players join Roseluxe Meitzen (blue-haired lad) or Ulrika Myberg (blonde lass) in a new adventure where the two heroes are incoming student at a school of alchemy. Roseluxe and Ulrika view alchemy differently and take divergent paths to reach their goals. The new students spend their time in class and out in the wilds hunting for ingredients, reagents, and monsters. NCS is currently accepting preorders for the regular edition of the game and a limited edition which is packaged with a figure diorama. Both versions of Mana Khemia 2 will ship to preorders on May 29, 2008.

Also, don't forget that Mana Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis is coming stateside on the 31st of this month. NIS America has already opened the official website. As of now character bios, story info, gameplay info, and trailers have been put up. They also have a raffle where 3 random people will win a free copy of Mana Khemia so go sign up for a free shot at the game. All you need to do is enter your full name and e-mail address. I wonder how many people bought that $300 painting...

disgaea already talked about it, so I'll just pass it on here. A Disgaea game for DS was announced on Famitsu. I haven't had a direct confirmation in it yet, RPGfan states it's going to just be another port with added items (...N1 why. ) as well as the battle field being on the top screen-

Update Includes :

"The PlayStation 2 is not dead yet as it gets it second new RPG for the week. The spiritual sequel to the Atelier Iris series, Mana Khemia ~Alchemists of Al‐Revis~ is coming to North America. NIS America, publisher of Gust's last RPG Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm, will be responsible for bringing Mana Khemia over.

The main character Vayne Aurelius is a new alchemy student at the Al Revis Academy. Throughout his adventure, he will team up with a variety of people to delve deeper into the world of alchemy. Unlike the Atelier Iris series, Mana Khemia features a campus simulation system. This system features academically-themed quests given by professor that must be completed or else Vayne has to stay after school. Quests require interaction with classmates and the outcome of the story can vary depending on who Vayne teams up with.

Players will be able to craft not only items, but skills and spells as well, allowing for greater character customization. Mana Khemia features no random encounters, instead opting to have the player confirm combat on screen. When battling enemies special button combination attacks known as Burst Attacks can be used.

Mana Khemia has not been rated by the ESRB and no official price has been set yet. It will be available March 18, 2008 for the PlayStation 2."
